Sea level might rise 10 feet in 50 year

April 8th, 2009 § 0

A recent research says that the sea level may rise to 10 feet in another 50 year. Scientists have discovered the sea-level instability which is the reason for the rapid ice-loss and the increase in the sea level in the near future. The research work by Blanchon shows that sea-levels can increase rapidly but does not attribute to be a cause for the rising temperatures. Though the people may be skeptical about man-made global warming and think that earth might warm up suddenly of its own there is a possibility that the planet can also cool down and enter the ice-age which might happen within the next 5,000 years even without the man made global warming.
