No Restrictions On Cuban Travels And Money Transfers

February 8th, 2012 § 0

The United States president Barack Obama lifts all the restrictions on Cuban trips and money transfers to the Americans. It will also start to issue licenses to allow telecommunication and other facilities very shortly. This was enabled in order to render more freedom to the people of Cuba. To enjoy this, it also requires the commitment of the Cuban government. It is estimated that around 1.5 million Americans have their relatives in Cuba, a communist country from 1959. This was a result of the president’s promises made as a presidential candidate. He had also stated in a campaign speech that there can be no better ambassadors for freedom than the Cuban Americans.
